My name is Christina (she/they)! I am a printmaker and artist living in western Mass. I work as a stationary store studio assistant, and the rest of my time is spent drawing, printing, bookbinding, snacking, and very slowly copy-pasting HTML code for this website.
I studied printmaking in undergrad and grad school. I make work from my basement studio with a 15" x 30" Conrad Machine tabletop press, a secondhand Ryonet blacklight exposure unit, a WACOM tablet from my friend Michelle, several Pentel Slicci XF gel pens, and about 10 Tupperware bins of miscellaneous art and non-art items. I also make work as a member of Zea Mays Printmaking (Florence MA) and occasionally at LookyHere (Greenfield MA).
Noodles (left) and Casper (right) are my studio coordinator and administrative assistant. They spend their time sitting on every sheet of paper left out, and digging out more paper from drawers (to sit on). I am trying to teach them what a computer is so we can respond to more emails, but they keep sitting in front of the laptop fan and clogging it with their fur.
